Sioux Falls Roots
Growing Up in Sioux Falls, Shaped by Diversity
Vince Danh was raised in Sioux Falls, where his parents immigrated in the early 1990s and opened the city's first Vietnamese restaurant. From behind the counter, he learned hard work, resilience, and the power of community. His story reflects the strength of Sioux Falls diversity, families from many backgrounds building opportunity together. For Vince, this city is more than home. It gave his family a chance to thrive. Now he's focused on giving back and helping every resident see a future here.
"I want the next generation to feel what I felt growing up in Sioux Falls," Vince says. "Belonging. Support. A real shot to succeed."
Business & Service to Sioux Falls
Supporting Entrepreneurs and Building Opportunity
Vince is a small business owner and co-founder of 4Front Studios, a Sioux Falls creative agency that helps Sioux Falls entrepreneurs and nonprofits tell their stories, reach customers, and grow. Working across neighborhoods has taught him how to build teams and navigate City Hall from a small-business perspective. He stays connected to the city's energy through community service and the arts, serving on local boards, organizing cultural events like Lunar Fest, and partnering with nonprofits to lift up their work. These experiences guide how he leads: make city resources simple, support local ideas, and strengthen the connections that make Sioux Falls special.
Why Vince Is Running
From Local Roots to Citywide Vision
Vince is running for City Council At-Large A to keep Sioux Falls affordable, vibrant, and welcoming. He understands real challenges, cost of living, housing, and starting a business, because his family lived them and his clients face them today. His focus is practical: plan growth with care, back small businesses, and make opportunity easier to access in every neighborhood. The goal is a Sioux Falls where children can thrive, young people want to return, and every family can put down roots and succeed.
Community Involvement
Living His Beliefs in Sioux Falls
Vince Danh has always shown up for this city. His story is simple: learn, serve, give back. For Vince Danh, Sioux Falls is home and the place he chooses to invest his time and energy.
He has helped shape downtown Sioux Falls as a board member with Downtown Sioux Falls, Inc. He has supported the arts through Sioux Falls Stage & Gallery and helped organize Lunar Fest with the Vietnamese American community. Those experiences celebrate Sioux Falls diversity and the connections that make neighborhoods stronger. He has also grown as a leader through Leadership Sioux Falls, Leadership South Dakota, and Leaders of Tomorrow.
Vince leans into creativity and connection. He shares local stories on KELOLAND Living, mentors Sioux Falls entrepreneurs at Startup Sioux Falls, and supports nonprofits through 4Front Studios' Mission 100 initiative. As a member of the El Riad Shrine, he serves alongside neighbors in traditions that span generations.
No matter the setting, neighborhood events, the arts, cultural festivals, or nonprofit work, Vince Danh believes Sioux Falls is at its best when we rise together. These experiences guide how he'll serve on the Sioux Falls City Council At-Large A: lift up small businesses, make resources easy to access, and strengthen the community that built him.
